In June of 2024, this event was a special treat. The annual awards banquet for a health care organization, the client had some unique needs and visions. There were no specific people to feature, and in fact, due to HIPPA privacy concerns since patients were in attendance, no likenesses could be recorded at all. They did want to capture the iconic grandeur of this well-known Los Angeles architecture, and the vibrant, grateful celebratory vibes of the evening.
This painting also has the fun distinction of existing in two versions: This public-facing image was completed at and just after the event, and documented in the state you see. The sponsoring organizations logo was then added as a projection onto the brushed chrome face of the buildings, before the original painting was gifted to the benefactors who made the event possible. A unique privacy challenge that was fun to solve.
