This piece was grew out of the attempts to create a background for a different piece I had planned. As I worked toward this who other thing, I started finding myself mesermized by the canvas in front of me. Intending to just do clouds on a blue sky, this circular sense of calm soon emerged, and hinted at the rainbow aura it wanted to cradle. I quickly changed course and let this piece tell me its own story.
Throughout the creation of this piece, gazing into it continually evoked a deep and compelling sense of peace within me. I was going through a dark patch in my own inner world, and this painting became my personal sanctuary and beacon of light.
It remains one close to my heart.
